For over thirty years, John Pescio has been helping others grow in their relationship with God. Whether through worship leading, mentoring, teaching, or coaching, he has a passion to see people grow in their intimacy with Christ and their understanding of His heart for them.
John spent 18 years as a staff member with Campus Crusade for Christ (now Cru), training and equipping music missionaries for a lifetime of ministry. He developed ministry training curriculum, mentored staff, and coached missionaries in spiritual development, communication skills, and music theory.
John founded Tidewind Ministries in 2008. “It seems that we have lots of opportunities in the Christian world to serve,” John often says. “But where do you learn to walk with God on a moment by moment basis?” John is committed to helping people keep sight of “the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:3) Currently John is a worship leader with Tidewind and serves as the ministry’s Executive Director.
John and his wife Andorra live in central Indiana and have three children: James, William, and Anna.
